Drawing from his new book, "The Evolution of Beauty", Yale Professor and Curator of Vertebrate Zoology Richard Prum will reveal how mating preferences create the extraordinary range of ornament in the natural world. Following the lecture, enjoy refreshments and continue the discussion with Harvard doctoral student Jonathan Schmitt at a teachers-only reception. Each pre-registered participant will receive a copy of Prum’s book.

Following the lecture, join colleagues for refreshments and discussion. Lecture at 6:00 pm in the Geological Lecture Hall, 24 Oxford Street. Teacher reception and discussion from 7:00–8:30 pm.

Free parking is available in the 52 Oxford Street Garage.
Teachers who have completed the PD series, “Keeping up with the Standards” will receive 2.5 PDPs for attending this event.
