The Life Sciences Outreach Program welcomes graduate students and postdocs to teach laboratory sessions to high school students for our Spring Program. Lab sessions are generally three hours in duration. Teaching Fellow training takes place in February and laboratory sessions commence in March. You can also develop a lab for the program based upon your own research.
If you are interested in visiting a high school or giving a tour of your lab, sign up on Gradwagon to complete your profile and connect with high school teachers in New England. Teachers can peruse profiles on Gradwagon and make requests for lab tours, classroom visits, or general inquiries.
Amgen Biotech Experience
Have a particular interest in biotechnology? The Life Sciences Outreach program is one of nine sites around the country hosting the Amgen Biotech Experience. We can always use help in training teachers in biotechnology techniques or you can join us to give a short talk about how your research uses biotechnology.
